I moved with my husband to Alaska in 2005. My professional life has had many chapters: ballet dancer, theatre director, arts administrator, advertising professional, hospital program manager and now I have ventured back to venue management. Through each chapter, story telling has been my through line. My personal life is my greatest light – I’m blessed to be a mother of two delightful humans and sharing this life of adventure with my husband and best friend.
I ebb and flow with my creative output. Not for lack to desire, but a number of things that I seem to allow to create resistance. As Steven Pressfield, author of The War of Art, has said, you need to “put your ass where your heart wants to be.” Well, Once Upon Alaska, is one way I’m doing that. Here we go.
